Mexican Language and Culture Programs
for Health Care Professionals

• For nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse-midwives and other health care providers and their    spouses/partners
• Intensive immersion language training in Querétaro, Mexico
• 1-3 weeks duration, with individual extension possible
• Go as an individual, or with a group
• Housing and meals with a carefully chosen Mexican family
• Visits to local medical facilities
• Round tables with Mexican health care providers, political scientists and anthropologists
• Excursions to villages and Mexico City [on programs longer than 10 days]
• Pre departure orientation materials and program specific handbook
• "Extras" - salsa lessons, cooking classes with a master chef, birding, pottery, music and an illustrated    demonstration of the uses of the maguey plant.
